We served as owner’s engineer for the Noblesfontein Wind Farm, a project comprising 41 turbines and a 73.8 MW wind turbine generator plant, located in central Karoo.
Civil works included approximately 38 km of gravel roads along which the turbine components were transported to site; crane hardstand areas at each of the wind turbine positions for storage and erection of the wind turbine generators; concrete works for the tower bases; and a platform for the substation.
