LEANDRA WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS

We were responsible for the full scope of services, including preliminary design, detailed design and documentation, contract administration and site supervision, for the Leandra wastewater treatment works in Mpumalanga.

A parallel activated sludge BNR plant was designed which incorporated FC dosing for phosphate removal. The project included a new biological reactor, secondary clarifier, drying beds, chlorination contact tank and various ancillary structures.

Flow control to the new activated sludge plant is controlled by a specially designed division chamber.
