WINDHOEK INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT PLAN

We were appointed to develop a solid waste management (SWM) policy, regulations and a framework for an integrated waste management plan (IWMP) in Windhoek.

Undertaken on behalf of the City of Windhoek, the scope of work included  a status quo or situation analysis; reviewing existing policies, strategies and by-laws; and a gap analysis and needs assessment.

We also compiled a draft and final SWM policy and were involved in stakeholder engagement, in addition to developing a framework for the compilation of an IWMP.
