NTABAMHLOPE WATER SUPPLY

JG Afrika was appointed to undertake the planning and feasibility study for source identification, conceptual design and business planning to secure funding for the implementation of the Ntabamhlope Water Supply project.

We undertook the detailed design for the first three phases of work, tender documents, construction supervision and contract administration. This is in addition to the detailed planning and feasibility study.

We suggested sourcing water from the Wembezi scheme and pumping water to a 2 Ml command reservoir. A bulk reservoir feeds four smaller service reservoirs from where water is reticulated to communal standpipes in the communities.

This option eliminated the need for water treatment considering that water is supplied from the existing Estcourt Water Works.
