SISHEN TO SALDANHA IRON ORE LINE EXTENSION

JG Afrika was appointed to extend the Sishen-Saldanha railway line, as well as remodel and redesign the Saldanha marshalling yard.

The crossing loops and tracks within the Saldanha marshalling yard were extended and an additional yard was designed and built.

Our services included the design management and construction monitoring for the perway, civil works, drainage and structures, as well as drawings, survey and geotechnical services, technical specifications and bill of quantities.
