COMPASS BAKERY ENVIRONMENTAL BASELINE STUDY

We were appointed to conduct an environmental baseline study of Compass Bakery’s operation in Cape Town so as to make recommendations on more sustainable operational methods that would make better use of resources.

The scope included the factory floor, offices storage areas, canteens and staff ablution facilities.

The study encouraged management to continue changing current systems to pursue a more sustainable path, and to continue to monitor and measure their resource use in terms of usage as well cost.
