We were appointed by the Western Cape Provincial Administration to design a pedestrian bridge between Montague Gardens and Century City in Cape Town, as well as provide construction supervision services.

It had to complement the architecture of Century City, and attention paid to this aspect of the brief secured JG Afrika a 2007 Fulton Award for Aesthetic Appeal.

The 52,8 m bridge consists of architectural shaped, simply-supported voided precast reinforced concrete elements.
