JG Afrika is seeking an experienced Wastewater Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will be responsible for:

The design of wastewater infrastructure
-
project management of multidisciplinary projects
-
preparing contract documentation
-
contract administration
-
supporting Green Drop and Blue Drop compliance.
The role involves site work and may require travel at short notice. A full and valid driver’s licence is essential.
Qualifications:
-
A minimum of a BSc, BEng, or BTech in Civil Engineering is required.

A Master’s in Water and Wastewater Treatment Processes is a strong advantage.

A BSc or BEng in Chemical Engineering will also be considered, providing you have experience in municipal wastewater treatment design and project management. Please provide evidence on your CV.

Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer/Technologist, or close to registration.

A valid driver’s licence.
Experience:
-
At least 8 years of experience in wastewater infrastructure design and contract administration, with good knowledge of treatment plant processes.
Skills:
-
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
-
Excellent communication skills are a requirement.
-
Strong and demonstratable technical skills in the Engineering space.
Competencies:
-
Strong AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel, Word and MS Project.
