JG Afrika is looking for a wastewater and water engineer to undertake designs and contract administration for projects in our Cape Town office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Designing of wastewater infrastructure and conduct process assessments.
• Preparing contract documentation and managing contract administration.
• Providing Green Drop assistance.
• Travelling on short notice and work on site as required.
Qualifications:
• BTech (Civil Eng) or BSc Eng Civil
• Must be registered as an ECSA Candidate and be close to professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng)
• A valid driver’s licence is essential
Experience:
• 5-10 years’ post grad experience in wastewater infrastructure design, treatment plant process assessments and contract administration.
Skills:
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Willingness to work in the field.
• Strong communication skills.
Competencies:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil Designer/Civils 3D, and advanced Microsoft MS Word and MS Projects.
