A Senior Engineering Hydrologist/Water Resource Engineer with 10+ years of relevant experience.
This is a permanent position, and the successful applicants will be based in our Johannesburg or Pietermaritzburg office.
Qualifications
- BSc Eng (Civil) or BSc Hydrology (Hons); Masters preferred
- Proven project management and water resource planning experience
- Professional registration (Pr.Sci.Nat or Pr.Eng)
Experience
- Work with mining and renewable energy clients
- Consulting for National Water Resources Ministries/Authorities
- Proficient in South African modelling systems (ACRU, Pitman, etc.) and GIS
- Strong hydrological modelling, water resources planning, and flood determination skills
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, business development, and project management skills

- International project experience
- Multidisciplinary water-related studies
- Climate change impact assessment
- Risk and vulnerability assessments
- Hydraulic design of drainage structures
- Water quality analysis
- Training and capacity building
- Hydro-informatics systems development
