We were appointed the civil and structural engineer for the construction of a 16 storey, mixed-use development on the site of existing properties in central Cape Town.
The project involved the construction of two retail floors, nine parking levels and five residential levels.
During construction, it was necessary to support the façade of a five storey heritage building from the site’s original building and an existing 10 storey building had to be strengthened to carry some of the new load.
