NSUZE IRRIGATION PROJECT

We were appointed by the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform to undertake the feasibility study, detailed design and supervision of construction of the Nsuze irrigation project.

We undertook a detailed hydrological analysis of the Nsuze and Tugela River systems and detailed crop yield modelling.

In addition to the design of the infrastructure, JG Africa was involved in the detailed geotechnical investigation of the pump station, reservoir and pipeline positions.

We were also involved in the Environmental and Water Use License Process, in addition to assisting throughout the procurement, contract document development and tendering phases.
