NATIONAL ORGANIC WASTE COMPOSTING STRATEGY

The Department of Environmental Affairs appointed us to assist in the development of a National Organic Waste Composting Strategy for South Africa.

JG Afrika undertook a literature review, which assessed the organic composting trends in the country and internationally, as well as identified and reviewed successful and applicable initiatives for consideration.

This was followed by a situational analysis and needs assessment report that captured the existing organic waste generation and management practices.
