We were appointed to undertake the simulation of the proposed train service for ore, general freight and passenger services in Angola. The project also included the assessment of newly-built tracks and an analysis of the locomotive capabilities was undertaken.
JG Afrika analysed the proposed train service design/modelling, detailing point-to-point running times and speed, distance graphs and traction curves.
We also created a practical timetable for the geometrical design of the railway line and structures, as well as assessed the infrastructure components.
